Why the UK is a great place to be an entrepreneur
Delegates from the Entrepreneurs’ Festival talk about what inspires them to become entrepreneurs and why they look to the UK for developing their business ideas and ambitions.
Organised by UKTI, the three-day Entrepreneur Festival took place in Manchester on 4 - 6 September 2013, with talented graduates from more than 40 countries given an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a young entrepreneur in the UK and meet and work with other people with similar ambitions from around the globe.
The event saw the launch of the Sirius Programme, the world’s best graduate entrepreneurial programme, giving graduates a huge opportunity to come to the UK to build and grow their business from idea to reality. Successful applicants will receive numerous benefits including: a £12,000 financial contribution, a place in one of the world’s best business accelerator programmes, mentoring, support to gain clients and help with relocating to the UK including visa sponsorship.
